Dr Anna Benes graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Human Biology, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1993. After her medical registration in Australia in 1996, she spent six years in the public hospital system. She has worked overseas in New Zealand and UK. Dr Benes is a dedicated skin cancer practitioner since 2002 and holds a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine (University of Queensland), International Dermoscopy Masterclass Certificate (Skin Cancer College Australasia) and is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

We are pleased to advise that within our practice, Dr Anna Benes is Skin Cancer College Accredited. This means that she has successfully completed high level training with the Skin Cancer College Australasia and has proven skills and knowledge in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer.
