Our doctors are accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and specialise in skin cancer medicine and surgery. Our highly qualified doctors provide complete skin cancer checks and examinations using the latest technologies. We welcome GP referrals, however patients can attend without a referral. We are an open access clinic, and are committed to providing comprehensive skin cancer checks in Newcastle.
We check your skin from head to toe, looking for any suspicious skin lesions. Checking your skin for suspicious changes that may not be visible to the naked eye helps detect skin cancer at its earliest stages. Early detection of skin cancer gives you the greatest chance for successful skin cancer treatment.
Dermoscopy & Imaging

Diagnosis – Atypical Naevus
If suspicious lesions are detected we can take a sample to send for lab testing.
Some lesions are suitable for ‘freezing’ or ‘burning’. This can usually be done during the skin check consultation.
All our doctors are experts in dermoscopy and all techniques of biopsy and ablative treatments, including cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage.
